Bard Valley Natural Delights® announces the expansion of its team with two new hires and two internal promotions that will support the continued growth of the Medjool date category and the Natural Delights brand.
Alex Aguilera has been promoted from Production Planner to International Sales and Marketing Coordinator and Alan Asbury has been promoted from Midwest Regional Sales Manager to Senior Sales Manager Midwest and East Coast Regions.
Aguilera’s in-depth production knowledge will help sales and marketing teams better serve customers and consumers, especially as the category grows and grows. It will help the company to manage the links of the international supply chain as efficiently as possible for maximum efficiency.
Asbury excelled in his position in the Midwest and was a natural leader and mentor to the team in his previous role, which led to that well-deserved promotion of East Coast Oversight.
In addition, the brand has recruited two new team members – Mamud Dako as innovation director and Nancy Roser as regional sales manager for the South East region.
Dako brings with him extensive experience in consumer packaged goods, including his time developing new products and packaging for Heinz and Smirnoff. Its mandate includes receiving several packaging and innovation awards, including the Shelf Impact Award, the Food and Beverage Product Innovation Award from the National Restaurant Association and the DuPont Award for Packaging Innovation.

Roser also brings an impressive resume to the team with his background in business development, sales and marketing with Sysco and Handmade Real Foods. She supports the brand in the development of new business, the expertise of convenience stores and customer relations in the South-East region.
