Erie, Pa. (WJET / WFXP / YourErie.com) – It’s early January, so you know what that means… Girl Scout Cookie season is here!
The 2022 Girl Scout Cookies season has officially started. It takes place from January 7 to March 20.
Across the country, Girl Scouts are launching Adventurefuls this Cookie Season, a brownie-inspired cookie with creme caramel and a hint of sea salt.
This season, Girl Scouts will sell cookies traditionally through order cards and stand sales, as well as creatively and contactlessly.
To purchase Girl Scout Cookies this season:
- If you know of a registered Girl Scout, contact them to find out how they sell cookies, including through the online Digital Cookie platform.
- If you don’t know a Girl Scout, visit www.girlscoutcookies.org, text COOKIES to 59618 *, or use the official Girl Scout Cookie Finder app for free on iOS or Android devices to find cookie kiosks if they are available in your area. Sales of cookie kiosks begin Feb. 25 in western Pennsylvania.
- Starting February 18, enter your postal code in the Girl Scout Cookie Finder at www.girlscoutcookies.org to buy online from a local Girl Scout troop to ship to your door or to donate cookies to local causes.
Also new this year are new Cookie Business badges that help girls think like entrepreneurs when running their own cookie business and integrating online sales through the digital cookie.® Platform. According to Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania.
This year’s new flavor will be available nationwide, alongside Thin Mints, Samoas, Toast-Yay !, Lemon-Ups, Lemonades, Trefoils, Tagalongs, Do-si-dos, Toffee-tastic, Caramel Chocolate Chip and Girl Scout S ‘manners.
Every cookie purchase fuels the adventures of local Girl Scouts throughout the year.
