Beacock Music Company named Ryan Smith Vice President. Smith has been with the Vancouver-based company since 2002. He was previously the general manager responsible for business development. Beacock Music Company was founded in 1976 by the Beacock family. They currently own and operate the Vancouver location as well as two stores located in Eugene and Corvallis, Ore.

The Clark County Building Industry Association is pleased to announce the promotion of Justin Wood from Coordinator of Government Affairs to Director of Government Affairs.

Wood has been on the association’s staff for 2.5 years, initially hired as a Membership Assistant, transitioned to Government Affairs Coordinator in April 2021, and now recently promoted to Director of Government Affairs. A graduate of Camas High School, Wood later graduated with honors from Washington State University with a bachelor’s degree in public affairs. He has worked in the private and public sectors, including a Washington State legislative internship and director of the Responsible Growth Forum.

Wood will oversee the association’s advocacy efforts, including maintaining and growing relationships with government officials, oversee the government affairs committee, and is responsible for representing and protecting industry interests.

Carol Aaron, a member of the PeaceHealth Board of Directors since joining in January 2021, was named Vice Chair of the PeaceHealth Board of Directors.

With a deep commitment to community health, Aaron’s passion for organizational and talent development is underpinned by his experience working with high performing teams in nonprofit health systems.

Aaron retired in 2019 after more than 30 years of healthcare experience, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of PeaceHealth. In addition to her service with PeaceHealth, she has also held leadership positions at St. Joseph Health System and Sutter Health.

Helping to launch initiatives to improve governance, leadership and organizational development to advance a culture of high engagement in the communities she has served, Aaron will assume the role of Vice President.

Jary Martinson, Branch Manager at the Caliber Home Loans branch in Vancouver, was recently named one of the top performers among Caliber’s retail channels and received the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards are given to Caliber’s top producers nationwide, signifying his outstanding production performance as well as his dedication and commitment to Caliber Home Loans. He received the Lifetime Producers Award for his excellent sales record and advanced achievements in unit and volume loan production.
